Olive oil is obtained from the soft pulp of the fruit of the olive (Olea Europaea L.), a tree that grows mainly in the entire Mediterranean basin. The oil content is 50-60%. The crude oil has a yellow-green colour and the refined is bright yellow, both with a characteristic odour. Oil with a very high oxidative stability. High oleic acid content which can reach 80%. Used in cosmetic formulations and in formulations in the lubrication sector.
